Cumming Group is pleased to announce project completion of The Broadway, a landmark scheme by luxury residential developer Northacre Properties in the heart of Westminster, SW1.
Acting as Project Manager and Employer’s Agent, Cumming Group has been involved in the project since it’s inception in 2015; working alongside renowned architects Squire and Partners and main contractors Multiplex to transform the former Metropolitan Police Headquarters into one of the largest Central London prime residential sites at 1.72 acres.
Bringing Northacre’s ambition of ‘challenging the status quo’ and making ‘a positive impact on people’ to life, The Broadway has been imagined to encourage wellness, by creating a neighbourhood like no other, nourishing its community and reinvigorating the historic borough of Westminster. The scheme comprises 355,000 sq. ft. of high-end residential space, including 16,000 sq ft of health and wellness facilities and a total of 258 apartments. Alongside the residential, the development will also provide 116,000 sq. ft. of office space, and 27,000 sq. ft. of retail combined with a dynamic new public thoroughfare, Orchard Place.
