Cumming Group was retained by the Witkoff Group to serve as project manager for the PUBLIC Hotel and Residences in New York City, Ian Schrager’s latest boutique hotel concept. The new 28-story, 258,000-sq-ft. property, located at 215 Chrystie Street in Lower Manhattan, includes 376 guestrooms and 11 luxury condos. Also included are an arts club, two Jean-Georges Vongerichten restaurants, three bars, and related public areas. The PUBLIC’s hip concept incorporates a minimalist approach, providing guests with an affordable yet comfortable and high-quality room.
