Cumming, under the name of TowerEight, were appointed as Project Manager and Employer’s Agent on the first Mama Shelter in the UK. This refurbishment — which included the addition of new bedrooms, meeting rooms and a karaoke room — reinvented the existing property into a fun and unique hotel in the heart of East London. The hotel also features a large restaurant covered with hand-painted ceiling art by French artist Beniloys and an outside courtyard bar with a retractable roof. The project started on site in November and was completed in September 2019.
