Cumming Group, under the name of TowerEight, was appointed as Project and Cost Manager on Kingsland Locke, Edyn’s new build aparthotel in buzzy Dalston’s Kingsland Road. The development comprises 124 studio apartments, an all-day restaurant and coffee shop as well as a co-working space and fitness studio. In addition to the above, there is in an on-site microbrewery and gin distillery run by German Kraft Brewery and Jim and Tonic Distillery.

The interior takes inspiration from the vibrancy of Dalston in the public spaces and boasts a variety of recycled materials and lush plants throughout. Each bedroom has an aspect to key views of the city with large windows that also enhance daylighting levels contributing to daylight factor.
