Cumming Group, under the name of Prosurv, were appointed as Client’s Representative on the construction of the A50 grade separated junction in Stoke-on-Trent under a Section 278 Agreement with the Secretary of State for Transport. The £5 million works comprised the construction of an over bridge, on and off slip roads and a link road to the 150-acre commercial business development at Trentham Lakes. Cumming liaised closely with the Overseeing Highways Authority to ensure that all aspects of the project were effectively communicated to the contractor to ensure the completion of the works.
