The material price index of ‘All Work’ increased by 7.8% in March 2021 compared to the same month the previous year. Material prices in the ‘New Housing’ and ‘Repair & Maintenance’ categories have increased by more than 8% in March 2021. This followed a 1.5% decrease in February 2021 on the same basis and the month-on-month change shows a 12.9% increase in March 2021.
